is there a way to automatically put the date the report being run in the name of a scheduled report? like putting a parameter in the name of the report. is it possible in the current settings of daptiv? thanks.

If you haven't already gotten an answer, here is an easy way to do it:

Drag a Block onto your report in the Heading area.

Drag a Layout Calculation into the Block.

On the resulting Report Expression window, click the "Functions" icon, which will drop down several standard value functions.

Double-click the "AsOfDate" function.  The function will show in the window work area.

Click "OK" at the bottom of the window.

Run the report.  You should have your run date displayed in the heading.

what i meant is to put the cuurent date in the "saved as" file name of the report, not in the header in the report. i want to schedule a report and it will have a distinct FILE name with current date as part of the name every time it runs. i guess it is not feasible until scheduling page have some built-ins.
