    Comment When Declining Timesheet

I would expect that when I decline a timesheet, I would be prompted to enter some text indicating why I declined it.   Folks are prompted for comments when they submit but the appover is not prompted for comments when they decline.

I must be doing something wrong because I can't imagine you've implemented this where the person is supposed to guess why their timesheet was declined.

    Re: Comment When Declining Timesheet

Our product should include a comments field for approval/declining.  Since it does not, here is a workaround:

    •  Reviewer selects "Actions" and "Edit Timesheet Comment" for the timesheet before declining it.

    •  Reviewer enters reason for declining timesheet and save.  Use that same action button pictured above to decline it.

    • Recipient sees the comment:

Please let our product team know your thoughts on this missing functionality directly:

Thanks for the prompt and useful response.  You've also intrduced me to the "Timesheets Pending My Approval" view.  Up until this point I've been using the "Approval Requests Received" view which doen't have as many options.

     Thanks again.
