Google search is only mentioned as a thought for how to get around indexing limitations of Daptiv. Best would be to eliminate those limitations, of course, but I'm sure Daptiv has much else ahead of that on the roadmap.
I'm hardly the expert at how a Google or alternative 3rd party search solution might be used, and it hinges on how Daptiv's data is organized, but perhaps: 1) if there is a project or enterprise specific folder on Daptiv server (likely there isn't one, however) and we knew our document folder's URL, then Google on our PCs could index the files. Or, better yet, 2) perhaps google search (or an alternative) could be added from Daptiv's end and implemented on its servers. Everything in an enterprise would be indexed by Google search, but views of search results would be filtered so a given user only sees those they have viewing rights to.
Quite probably neither of these solutions makes sense technically...if that is the case, what are other options?
