I need to be able to export all project request details into a structured format (excel, xml, csv).  I also need the ability to take such a file and use it to upload project requests to eProject. 

I looked at creating a report that would satisfy my export requirements, but wasn't able to author such a report. 

I also looked at the business services toolkit for a service that creates project requests (for my import requirement).  Nothing obvious there.

Any help would be appreciated.

We have been able to export all Project and Project Request details using Crystal Reports.  Use the Advanced Reporting Engine utility for PPM6 and include the "Workspace" and "Workspace Custom Fields" tables in your Crystal Report.  From there, you can pull any detail field available for Projects and Requests.  If you are not familiar with Advanced Reporting, look in the Help for PPM6.  Downloading it and using it are well-described there and a User Guide is available as well when you download the utility.

Importing is more difficult.  We ended up manually re-entering all our prior requests into PPM6 when we converted.  There is no native PPM6 utility or existing function present to import Project or Request details.  You would need to use the new PPM6 APIs, which require help from eProject Support and a knowledge of Visual Basic.
