Custom fields in Issues app (project level)

I know how to add the custom field I would like, and to have it show up on the create/edit issue form, but I can't figure out a way to include it as a column on the list view WITHIN the project screens (I can get it into the custom view at the global level...)

Is this just not an option?

In 5.0 Application custom fields appear in the LIST view inside any project Application.

In PPM6 this feature was removed during the restructuring of the interface. Eventually the ability to customize the in-project view of any application data will be possible however it is not currently available.

I will push this out to our product team as a suggestion for improvement!
