The real potential of Dynamic Applications

In the years I have been using eProject as a project mangement solution, I have found if I can get a team to diagram their process, a dynamic app can be created to provide a solution.  In many cases, I may have to use cross-referenced fields, but the solution can be created.  If you have something you have been struggling with, I would like to discuss your challenge and work with you to provide an answer.

Thanks for your offer. Having just installed eE onsite and this morning being the first time we've used it, I'm sure I will at some point want to take you up on that. It looks to be a very powerful product indeed.

    Mike,

Let me know if I can help in any way.  The best way is to post your requirements to see if anyone has a dynamic app to meet your needs.  If not, I can help you quickly create one.

    Enjoy the site!

I agree that Dynamic apps are extremely powerful tools, however I have been less than successful using the cross-referenced fields. Any tips on using them and making them work?

    Mark_S,

Sure, the key thing with cross-reference fields is to be able to see the field you want to cross reference.  In one situation, I wanted to create a solution to track Requirements through Use Case and Test Case.  I realized I may have only 3-5 requirements, but many more use and test cases.  The perfect solution was using cross-reference fields.  I built the Requirments Tracking solution and then built the Use Case/Test Case Tracker.  I used a cross-reference field to pull in the name of the requirement for each use case.  I have posted the results here along with data.
