    Mass Issue Notification

So, I've been searching around through the forums here and inside eProject itself, but I can't find a way to select a large group of issues and set them to auto-notify me when they change. I can only do it (it seems) by going into each issue after it's created and selecting the notifcation options I want. In addition, this fails to allow me to set it for others. As a project manager, it would seem this would be important for a lot of people.

I really need a way to select a huge number of issues at once and set them to always notify, and if I could set that option for others I know need to be notified would be helpful as well, but at least if there's some way to do it for myself, I can always educate the others on how to set it up for themselves.

I hope the answer isn't going manually into every issue, as that's over 500 issues, with new ones getting created on a fairly regular basis (Sometimes by me, sometimes by other project managers).

    Thanks!

Edit: Just to be clear, this is the UI component that I'm hoping there is a better way to set. Attached file.

    Marc,

I have done this for all forums and find it very useful.  When you sign on, click on Forums.  On the right side (in the blue column) you will see "Forum Subscriptions."  Check the forums you want to be notified for and you will receive emails when the forum is updated.  I try to answer all updates when I can in this way.

Thanks for the tip, but... any idea on my question? This is causing a major work slow-down for me (And others), and any help figuring out a more time effective manner (rather than staying late most nights just to add myself and others to the tasks I need notification on) would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

I actually found an answer to my own question. It's not exactly what I was looking for, and in certain situations (depending on your project) could be a tad draconian on the amount of email your team recieves, but:

Under Admin -> Administer Workflow, all the options I was looking for were there. This is a major time saver and life saver. There is also a way to setup auto notification on tasks for dependencies and such. This is the type of behavior I was hoping to achieve.

Sorry for missing that part of the question and I am glad you found your answer.
