    Tasks predecessor

    Hi,

I created a project template with the list of tasks and their predecessors. When I apply this template to a new project, the predecessors relationship did not get copy accross. Did I do it wrong? or is this a limitation in using the project template?

    Thanks

    Vironita,

I have seen the same behavior and have opened a ticket with Support.

I'm seeing the task predecessor relationships come through the template in the List and Outline View, but not the Gantt View.  It is not until I make a change to one of the tasks in the Gantt View does the predecessor information appear in the Gantt View.  Defect?

     Hello kg0224,

This behavior has been corrected in the Spring '10 release, currently slated for March 13th. The predecessors were appearing in the Outline View, but not in the Gantt Chart view, and as you stated, took a task edit and save to appear back. With the new release, task predecessors will show up in both Outline and Gantt views immediately.
