    Opening Related Items

    Hi Daptiv Team:

Our team's  been using Daptiv actively and it is what we do for project managements, tasks, tracking, and so forth.. and aside from the great products Daptiv offers, there is one part that our team feel would be great if it was modified. That is, opening attachments. We have a lot of documents that we link to the items but it takes 6 steps before opening the attachment itself. It'd be easier if there was an option under Actions for "download" attachments right where the item is. I understand we can always search the documents in the search bar, however, most of the time we don't know the name of those documents, and we search it by the Project name/ PR/Invoice.

Here are the steps that we go through just to open an attachment: (so you can see what I'm talking about)

    1. We first search the Project / PR#

    2. Then open the item I want

    3. Then click on "Related Items" to find the attachments

    4. Once I found it, I then click on the document

    5. That brings up to another page, then I click on "Actions" then go to "Download"

    6. Gives another pop up page to "Open/Save" Document. Then finally, I got the document.

Not only this takes a lot of time, it takes a lot of energy. Our suggestion is if you'd add the "download" part of that in step 2. Maybe under that link of item could have an Action button for "attachments" or "linked documents".

Or, if that's not possible, to add the "Download" part in step 3&4 under Related Items. As soon as the the document is listed in there, the Actions option should include "Download" there. So skip the list of clicking on the document, click on ACtions, then Download.

    That's just our suggestions.

    Thank you.
