"Actual Work" in Tasks\Outline View

"Actual Work" in Tasks\Outline View

Does the the "Act. Work" column in Projects\Tasks\Outline View get updated only when timesheet hours are approved?

(This is assuming we use timesheet tracking, which we do.)

I have a colleage who is just starting to use Daptiv but is not yet using timesheet tracking. He has entered his hours in tasks directly, but the Act. Work column does not get updated for his projects.

That is correct. Timesheet hours will push to the Actual Hours upon timesheet approval. Actual Hours are pushed to Timesheet hours real time regardless.

Then why would I not see the actual hours column updated in real time, e.g., in the "act. work" column in Tasks\Outline View? The ETC column is being decremented properly based on the actual I put in the task, but the "act. work" column still says zero hours.
