Template not reflecting "Project Home Customization"

I customized my project home page and removed certain tabs. After that i created template from this project. Then i created new project from this template. My "Project Home" page does not reflect latest cusomization instead it reverted back to its original style with all tabs.

Any thoughts ?

Project home page nuggets or tabs are not retained in the template, it is up to each user to set their own dashboard up. This is because our current dashboards are permission based, so what a manager may set up in a template, a guest will have no ability to utilize due to limited authority.

Thanks for your prompt response Steve. It may be a good idea to have an option to retain or not retain customization. I guess i have go thru feature request.

My point however is , sometime too much information is confusing and also if arrangement of these tabs can be organized in a proper way that would be more intutive to users(especially for beginners)
