User Management - who added them and when

I need to manage my licenses and meet audit requirements. The user management features in Daptiv fall short in both areas.. We use Daptiv for external client access and internal collaboration. Some people who are added for a project never use it. These users are consuming a license, and I'm always tight on my licenses.

In eP5 I used to be able to tell who added a user and when. So if I have 20 users who have never logged in, I could tell if they were added yesterday or 4 weeks ago. I could call the PM and see if it's OK to deactivate them to free up a license. It was a pain to get that info -- you had to search for the member and that info was on the search results page (but not on the user details page -- go figure).

In Daptiv, the information is not available at all. Not on the search results, not on the user details, not in reports. I can't tell how or when a user was added to Daptiv. It creates an audit issue as well, because I now have people granted access with no visible audit trail of who authorized their access.

Ideally, I need a canned user report that lists name, company, dated added, added by, and last login.

Another great license management concept would be that a license would not be consumed until a user logs in to "activate" the invitation. This would run the risk of a user being denied access if they logged in and there were more invitations than licenses, but if you show the # of invitations & # of activated licenses on the user management screen you'd be able to work with that constraint.

Here is your report (I couldn't find a field for who added the user).

This report can be modified to include additional fields. To use, open the file

    1. Press Ctrl and a (select all) to select all information in the file
    2. Press Ctrl and c (copy) to copy the file to clipboard
    3. Open Advanced Report Builder and select Blank Report
    4. Click on Tools Open Report From Clipboard
    5. You will need to associate your report file with this report by clicking on File, Report Package
    6. You should now see the report and you can run it
    7. Once the report runs, you can click on File, Save As and name the report the same as the file name (don't put in .txt)
