    Cross Dependent Tasks

Has anyone found a workaround to have the cross project dependent tasks auto update in the other projects?  I've created "milestone" in projects that are a cross dependency to tasks in other projects - but they do not auto update when the originating project date moves.  I know about scheduling work flow notification, etc. and the ghantt chart alert - but I have 13 projects interelated and am looking for an auto method.

    thank you

    Re: Cross Dependent Tasks

Currently, cross-project dependencies only give a visual indicator in the Gantt chart when the upstream task compromises the successor.  However, this kind of automatic schedule adjustment capability is something we are evaluating for the scheduling engine enhancements we will be undertaking in the near future.

What is the visual indicator that you mention?

I have 20+ projects, all rolling up to a top level project.

What I want to see in my top-level schedule is that my sub-project has been delayed, hence my current planned date showing at the top level schedule is now bogus.

Dean, Look at the Gantt view and you will see the indicators.

Is there any other indicator?  The Ghantt view is quite long to be loading.  Or can there be some report that would highlight the delays
