    URL 100-Character Limit

I remember seeing/hearing at YouCon that the character limit for URL fields will be increased, but I cannot remember the timing. Anyone?

    Thanks!

IP addressing is part of the URL and has been termed IPv4.  All government contractors are required to have their computer systems upgraded to IPv6 addresssing scheme with is the increase in space needed to allow all new users on the Internet to have address for advertising, ecommerce, etc.

The required date for government contractors to update is June, 2008.

    Hope this helps.
