Is there any way to extract the information contained in Capacity Planner but historically for dates/periods in the past (I realise this isn't what CP is intended for but the information is what I'm after). Alternatively is there a report anyone has seen or used that can give me a picture of Resource Type estimated work (hours) by project for any timeframe?

Currently only WI (Work Intelligence) reports can give you historical Capacity Planner data.  The reports so far have been created as one off's for customers that are a variation of what you are looking for, though the report you want wouldn't be too challenging to build in the Report Builder.   Below I just threw that together - what's not shown is the date filter prompt where you select the month and year for your data time frame.

Hi Owen, there is no attachment, just a screenshot of the report output which should be showing up for you as a picture in the previous post.  I can walk you through building this report (there isn't really a way to just give you a basic report as far as I know) if you have the basic Report Builder license.  Let me know.

I now have a Daptiv Report Builder license and I've been able to extract pretty much the infomation I was after - thanks for your help on that one!! I have however struck a very odd result on another report that I need. Basically within the 'Resource Management' data folder, if I pull any report using the 'Actual Hours' field (this also applies to the 'Timesheets' data folder) I get very different actual hours output to the hours people have actually logged and which have been approved (as seen through the Resource Manager tool). I've traweled through the help sections but can't explain it. Any guidance on this would be appreciated.
